I specialize in selling European and North American power yachts ranging from 50' to over 150'. The range of my services include select brokerage, maintenance, and new construction and project management. In addition, I am able to assist a client with purchasing a yacht while acting as his consultant. Recently, I have overseen the sale and construction of a new 145' Benetti tri-deck. I have also sold a 1994 91' Burger, six Ferretti motoryachts, several Riva yachts as well as several Hatteras motoryachts, including a 92' Hatteras motoryacht, and finally a new 112' Westport motoryacht.
John Meade Yacht Service was started in 1973 and is dedicated to close and private service. Over the last thirty years I have established a serious network of associates in North America and Europe to assist me in finding the proper yacht or shipyard for new construction projects or major refit work. I have a very select client list, and I understand the needs of high profile clients who have very high standards and require absolute discretion. However, I am always ready to assist those who have a sincere desire to purchase a quality yacht.

My thirty-seven years of experience in the marine industry includes duty with the U.S. Coast Guard as a navigation instructor and bridge management specialist, and I have been operating and maintaining and managing yachts since 1966. I am an accomplished waterman who has lived on the water all my life; therefore, I know how to show my clients the beauty of boating and the sea.
